Geologic heterogeneity is one of the important factors controlling migration and distribution nonaqueous phase liquids in subsurface. Heterogeneity, such as fractures, complicates effectiveness environmental remediation, uncharacterized aquifer causes significant uncertainties removal liquids. Foaming an injection gas effective method to alleviate challenges accessing heterogeneous media during remediation processes because foam nonNewtonian redirects liquid flow.
